Use your lathe to press your pen parts together perfectly straight every time. This easy-to-use system installs in the #2MT headstock and tailstock openings of your lathe. We have designed the parts just like a standalone press where one part is a spring-loaded hard plastic with a center hole for pen tips. Ideal for pressing longer pens or anything up to the maximum spindle length your lathe can handle. 

(Requires #2MT headstock and tailstock openings).

• Assemble your pen making parts together directly on your lathe with this standalone press
• Requires a #2 morse taper opening on your lathe's headstock and tailstock spindle
• The headstock end part is spring-loaded with hard plastic to protect pen components
• Center hole on the plastic face to secure the pen nib while pressure is being exerted from the tailstock end
• Ideal for most pen turning and woodturning projects that require parts to be pressed together 
• Maximum workpiece length depends on your lathe's distance between centers
