This Live Center Mandrel is meant to be used with your 60-degree live center. When putting a decorative loop kit onto your handles it is best to use the Live Center Mandrel so the handle can be turned all at once. We recommend that the hole for the decorative loop be drilled while it is on the Stainless Bottle Stopper Universal Mandrel to ensure the holes are in-line.

Live Center Mandrel

This Live Center Mandrel is meant to be used with your 60-degree live center. When putting a decorative loop kit onto your handles it is best to use the Live Center Mandrel so the handle can be turned all at once. We recommend that the hole for the decorative loop be drilled while it is on the Stainless Bottle Stopper Universal Mandrel to ensure the holes are in-line.

Precision machined in the USAand has a 3/8-16 self-tapping thread. Rust protective black oxide coating. Each mandrel features flats for easy installation/removal Unlike some other mandrels, this one runs true to within .002″ of an inch. Free storage case included. 

All mandrels are supplied with an optional screw-on/off plastic washer. The washer helps prevent the wood from getting stuck on the mandrel. (The washer should be removed when threading the wood.) 

The price is for one mandrel with one 13/16" bushing and two washers.
