Depends on the pen and how wide. Slimlines, yes no problem at all. Cigar styles yes, but NOT at all comfortably. Full-size gentleman types, no. For the more expensive/larger pen styles, I would recommend a larger box.
No folding. They come fully assembled.
Hi Chris! A handle will fit. but not well, and looks "weird". As the box's interior is only 1 1/4" wide, fitting the handle and head is a definite no. It should fit, yes. But barely. You will probably need to push the clip off to the side to close the lid.
