Sweetgum Balls For Resin Casting - bag of100. These spikey balls make really cool blanks. The chambers in the balls will naturally swirl the resin, creating cool eddies and color effects. The sweetgum balls are clean and dry, but it is recommended that you wash them with DNA (alcohol) and dry them thoroughly before casting (especially if using Alumilite resins)

Cast in Horizontal or in Vertical Molds - but we recommend vertical casting such as JohnU's Casting System. Just drop the clean and dry balls into the casting tube, add resin, and cure/pressurize as recommended for the resin
Nope, they will be just fine to use as is, ie without stabilizing. We would recommend cleaning off any off any odd stems that maybe still attached, tho. (They are very thin, and they are easy to remove)
