Stars & Stripes Rotacrylic Pen Blanks.

A fantastic rotacrylic pen blank rendition of Old Gory! Completely made from Alumilite resin, this set makes it just a breeze to show off your patriotism! No more gluing small pieces, just drill and turn! The upper blank has white stars set in a deep pearl blue backdrop, and the lower blank is a red pearl with wavy white stripes...an artistic and very eye-catching rendition of the American flag! This pen blank is best when paired with any of the large to large-mid size pen kits.

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, both the upper blank and lower blanks are cast in resin again.

Drilling the blank on the lathe is recommended (for straightness). Also, be careful to make sure that your stars on the blue portion are pointing the correct way when turning and mounting on your hardware.

Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some white fill and CA or epoxy.

Painted tubes are recommended.

This has got to be one of rewarding blanks that I have ever worked with! Makes inlays pale in comparison. The blue and red portions of the blanks are iridescent, shimmer and have a depth and vibrance to them and, in a way, symbolic of the land the blank represents.
