I made one of my favorite pens from this blank! It had two strips of brass sheet through it at various angles and was assembled into a gold pen kit. The folds of the dark blue material give it a very curious appearance that is quite pleasing to the eye. I had to call the pen I made with it The Atlantian, as the aesthetic was similar to the aesthetics in the Disney movie Atlantis with Milo Thatch. The pale parts have a fair sparkle to them as well.
