New from Jeff! This symbol for psychology represents the penultimate letter of the Greek alphabet, psi. It is also the first letter of the Greek word psuche, meaning mind or soul, from which the term psyche arose. This, in turn, gave us the name for the current discipline of psychology, defined as the study of the mind.

New from Jeff! This symbol for psychology represents the penultimate letter of the Greek alphabet, psi. It is also the first letter of the Greek word psuche, meaning soul or breath of life, from which the term psyche arose. This, in turn, gave us the name for the current discipline of psychology, defined as the study of the mind.

The psi symbol also makes handy shorthand! (Ψist / Psychologist). This blank will make a great gift for any counselor, psychotherapist, psychologist or any one in the mental health field!

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc)  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.

Do you receiving both blanks for $22? Or do you only receive the one?

Hi Andres! Good question! You receive both. The blank with the cnc’d image, plus the blank without. You can make one two barrel pen ( like a jr gent) or two single barrel pens (like 2 sierras). I hope that helps! - Dawn
