New! From Jeff Powell! This is one in a series of new blanks dedicated to those faithful companions that fill our lives with warmth and joy. The Rottweiler is one of the oldest of herding breeds. With a history possibly dating back to the Roman Empire. The dogs were known in German as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Rottweil butchers' dogs, because one of their uses was to herd livestock and pull carts laden with butchered meat to market. This continued until the mid-19th century when railways caused droving to be replaced with herding. Rottweilers are now used as search and rescue dogs, as guide dogs for the blind, as guard dogs and police dogs. This blank will fit any mid size pen.

Rottweilers are now used as search and rescue dogs, as guide dogs for the blind, as guard dogs and police dogs. This blank will fit any mid size pen, and is a great way to show your love and support for this amazing breed!

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or colored epoxy. As always, painted tubes are recommended.
