New! From Jeff Powell! This is one in a series of new blanks dedicated to those faithful companions that fill our lives with warmth and joy.

The Golden Retriever, was initially breed as a gun-hunting dog. But today, due to its gentle nature Retrievers have become a great family dog, and as a result has become the third most popular breed in the US and eighth most popular in the UK. Like the Labrador, Retrievers are also frequently trained to aid the blind, those who have autism, to act as a therapy dog and perform search and rescue work. They are also still prized as sporting and hunting dogs and have a fondness for water and play. This blank will fit any mid size pen.

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or colored epoxy. As always, painted tubes are suggesed.
