New! From Jeff Powell! This is one in a series of new blanks dedicated to those faithful companions that fill our lives with warmth and joy.

The German Shepherd is a relatively new breed of dog, with their origins only dating back to 1899. German Shepherds are working dogs developed originally for herding sheep in Germany and central Europe. However, because of their strength, intelligence, trainability, and obedience, German Shepherds are often the preferred breed for many types of work, including disability assistance, search-and-rescue, police and military roles, guard dogs, and even acting (Strongheart, Rin-Tin-Tin). The German Shepherd is the second-most popular breed of dog in the United States and fourth-most popular in the United Kingdom. This blank will fit any mid size pen.

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or colored epoxy. As always, painted tubes are suggesed.
