Nouveau Sceptre Rollerball Pen Kit - Chrome & 22KT Gold

This exquisitely original Nouveau Sceptre Rollerball Pen Kit was designed by David Broadwell. An accomplished custom art knife and pen maker with twenty-five years of experience shaping & sculpting a variety of metals, fine woods, ivories, and stone. His pens have been featured in Stylophiles online magazine, Pen World International, Stylus Magazine, and were showcased in the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) 3M Innovative Tools 2002 Exhibition. His hand-made pens sell for thousands of dollars.

The Art Nouveau design is an art form that has its roots in nature and flowing organic lines. The along with Art Deco, the art form has a strong influence on architecture, industrial design, interior design, fashion, and film. It is time-tested and harkens back to a more elegant and graceful time. The art form is as popular today as it was back then. All of the components of this pen are cast, polished, and plated with a durable Rhodium & 22kt Gold or Black Titanium plating. The pen's center band and finials feature elegant custom cast 3-D art nouveau designs that have been richly plated with 22K gold accents. The pen comes with a Schmidt medium point high-quality steel rollerball refill. Postable.

This is a larger to mid-sized pen and a 3/4 x 3/4 x 5" blank is suggested. You will also need 10.5mm and .492 drill bits and Nouveau Sceptre Bushings (PKDBBUA)

The threads on this pen are not very defined. You can put the cap on it, screw it on, and as long as you twist it, it keeps turning. I don't recommend this kit. It's also very heavy with the cap on it.
