Postage Stamp Pen Blanks - Sunday Funnies - Sierra #24

Postage stamps are no longer just portraits of dead presidents!!!

With the many, varied collector series of stamps, a new avenue has opened for pen blank production.  Now, Bailey (a teenage young lady) has selected the stamps she and her dad, Mike like.  We think you and your pen customers will like them too.

This is one of the classic newspaper "comics" series of stamps--featuring "Beetle Bailey", the title character and his friends--most prominent of whom is Sergeant Snorkel.  Like many "comic strip" worlds, Beetle Bailey remains unchanged.  The uniforms are vintage, Beetle's helmet has continuously covered his eyes, they are never actually engaged in combat.

Originated in Sept, 1950 by Mort Walker, Beetle Bailey is among the oldest comic strips continuously produced by the same creator.

In short, due to the wide distribution of the comic strip, and the humorous military theme, there should be a good reception to the pen.

This genuine US postage stamp, cast in crystal clear Alumilite resin. It comes tubed, and fits the Sierra Twist style of Pen Kits.
