Neon Lime Carbon Fiber Pen Blank - Sierra

Every KC blank is carefully handcrafted with great attention to detail. Kevin & Chris produce everything in-house starting with thier hexagon blank molds to the finished tubed and milled pen blanks. Their blanks are cast in Alumilite Clear for smooth turning and excellent physical properties. They use both vacuum as well as pressure to ensure bubble free castings and heat treat the cured blanks to ensure full toughness and strength. Kevin and Chris are very excited to share their hard work with you and hope you’ll enjoy turning these blanks as much as they did creating them!

 

These blanks come pre-tubed, and are made to fit the Sierra/Virage twist series of pen kits. The Alumilite resin on the blanks is hexagonal in shape, for easy turning.

 

Please note: These blanks are made with a Carbon Fiber / Fiberglass hybrid weave sleeve. The fiberglass is dyed with the many colors offered. (The only exception to this is the Carbon Fiber / Kevlar Hybrid sleeves which are naturally yellow in colour.)
