I spin and shear my own wool. Is there any chance this could be used to dye wool? Is it water soluble and permanent?

    Thank You

We dont do fiber arts, but I wouldn't think so, no. Pigments are different from dyes. Mica powder contains particles of mica (a mineral), plus other color pigments like titanium dioxide (think house paint). It is more for coloring liquids like resins, paints etc. The particles in this are fine, but they will be suspended in liquid, not dissolve. You need a dye that can dissolve in liquid and get into the actual fibers of the wool.
Think of a dye like how salt reacts in water. Pigments act more like, well mud.
    Hope that helps!
