Mercury Adhesive's Flex CA's have excellent adhesion and cure speed on difficult to bond plastics and rubbers and contaminated or acidic surfaces.  In particular, the FLEX was specifically designed to offer a flex in the acrylate bond without the addition of rubbers, or other agents that would weaken the bond.  IDEAL for wood turning, such as Pen Turning, or other woodworking performed on the lathe.

Mercury Adhesives Thin or Medium Flex CA Glue

Mercury FLEX M20FT Instant is a very low viscosity cyanoacrylate and was developed for demanding high-speed wicking applications.

Mercury M300FM Instant is a medium viscosity cyanoacrylate developed for demanding high-speed wicking applications.

Both Flex CA's have excellent adhesion and cure speed on difficult to bond plastics and rubbers and contaminated or acidic surfaces.  In particular, the FLEX was specifically designed to offer a flex in the acrylate bond without the addition of rubbers, or other agents that would weaken the bond.

APPLICATIONS: High-performance wicking and bonding of close-fitting parts including plastics, rubbers, metal, wood, leather, fabric and composites to themselves or in various combinations.  IDEAL for woodturning, such as Pen Turning, or other woodworking performed on the lathe.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Bond time is extremely fast, align parts prior to assembly. Also for locking parts that are pre-assembled.

    Set iup time

    Depends on a number of factors to give a specific time. (The surface, humidity, the speed that you are turning on the lathe, and use of accelerator, etc etc ) It does set up fairly quickly though.
