Lava Lamp Pen Blank #59 - Java Gold

These beautiful and exotically swirled blanks are handmade in small batches here in the US. They are made from Alumilite resin that is known for its beauty, resilience, and durability. Alumilite also cuts like butter, holds threads readily and polishes up easily.

Blanks are approx 7/8" sq x 5 1/4" long. Price is per blank, the photo shows a representative sampling of the colors and swirling. As always, painting the tube or reverse painting is recommended.

Ordered this based on the photo because it looks like flames or maybe lava. When I received it, was a little disappointed to see that it was a tan gold with very little to no orange at all. I know acrylics have a lot of variation, but the photo didn't seem representative at all. Other than the color, the blank turned and polished beautifully and still makes a really sharp looking pen.
