This blank turns like butter and polishes up beautifully. Like all blanks, there's no guarantee the colors will look like the online photo. In the case of the blank I turned, the blues were more in the range of light to medium dark turquoise and the yellows were more like mustard yellow. Pleasing but not as dramatic as the deep blues and brighter yellows in the photo. It still made a handsome pen.
