Turning Tip!Turning Tip: Faux stone is dense, so the tool needs to be sharp.  It can be turned with a roughing gouge, skew, or carbide tools (please watch our video showing these tools in use).  Because it is stone, it is porous, so you may want to complete it with a thin CA finish (I recommend 2-3 coats of thin and one or two coats of medium.)  Once these have cured, sand with 600 grit and polish---you can achieve a high shine--Ed

Pen blanks are approx 3/4" sq x 5" long. The price is per each; the photo shows a representative sampling of the colors and swirling.
