Diplomat Ballpoint Pen Kit - Gun Metal & Chrome

The new Diplomat series is chosen to provide you with a high quality pen at an economical price point.

The Diplomat II has a brass tube that is 0.41" in diameter by 2.2" long.  We recommend a 10.5mm drill bit, but a 27/64" is also an acceptable choice.  Please use our bushings for best fit. Try a few, I think you will like them--- I do!

Is it correct that when I slide the tube over the transmission/refill assembly that it will be loose on the end and not need a press, when the cap is pressed on it firms up the entire pen. Is this the way this is supposed to work?
