Dichroic is a multi-layer coating. Quartz crystal and metal oxides are vaporized with an electron beam gun in an airless vacuum chamber to create the effect. Dichroic may have as many as 30 layers of these materials yet the thickness is measured in atoms. The result will cause light to separate and the resulting colors will change depending upon the angle that you view it from. Truly space-age tech, dichroic was developed for NASA as a light filter.
This blank comes tube-in and will fit the Jr II Series of Pen Kits. (Pen Kits Sold separately.)
