    1. What would keep the pen from sliding up and down within the case during shipping?
    2. I am considering branding my company's logo on the top of the box. Is there a finish on it that would cause a problem in doing this?

    Hi Joe,

The box's pen slot is wood. Although there is not much room, the pen will slide if the box is tipped. The only thing I can think of is if you made some sort of foam insert/stopper for the slot.

I am not sure what you mean by "branding"...Laser engraving, branding iron...other? We do not make the boxes here, so I dont know exactly what was used as a finish. However, the maple part of the box should take laser engraving w/o issue.

    I hope that helps,

    Dawn
