The pressure pot was packaged very securely in the OEM box. It arrived in pristine condition and was 100% turnkey. I pressure tested it at 58 PSI and it held solid. I used it for pressure casting the very next day and everything went perfectly.

It is light and easy to move and store which is perfect for my limited space. It works great with the small California Air Tools Light & Quiet Portable Air Compressor I have in my workshop.

I made a pair of arrows from blue tape and added them to the front of the pot and lid. Now, lining the lid up with the front of the pot is a snap. I also wrapped the bottom of the tank just above the feet with a band of toolbox liner (rubbery material) to help protect the paint from any dings or scratches that might be caused by the wingnuts when I swing them open.

Some might consider it pricey when compared to some of the DIY approaches for converting paint pots however, taking into account the quality of the pot and not having to source fittings and the hassle of re-plumbing and plugging up leaks is an unequivocal plus. This thing just works right out of the box. I give it an A+++.

Ordered on the 20th, and received the pressure pot on the 24th. Very quick shipping. Unbeatable price. And this thing is ready to go right out of the box! Super easy to use with no hassle! Much better than buying a paint pot and trying to modify it myself. Oh and the m&ms were quickly enjoyed while unboxing the pot!

    Fantastic pot!

Of the four pots in my collection, this is the only one that was perfect out of the box. Everything was airtight and ready to go, no pressure loss over multiple days.

    This pot makes casting simpler.

Hi! Does this require a separate air compressor?

Yes, as far as I know ALL pressure pots require a separate air compressor to introduce the pressure.
