Caduceus Rotacrylic Pen Blank

From Masterscroller!  The caduceus is the ancient symbol of Hermes and features two snakes winding around a winged staff.

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc)  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or color matched epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.

Generally, I love Rotocrylics. This one, however, was a bit disappointing. There was very little of the gold in the blank and it looks kind of "ho hum". Not bad, but not spectacular like the other Rotocrylics I've purchased. Might just be the luck of the draw as every blank is different. I put this on a chrome Atrax.
