This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc)  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.

I have a customer who's husband has just passed away from Covid and she would like to have this bulldog pen blank on a Bolt Action (30 cal) Gun Metal pen kit. Is it possible for this blank to go on that kit as I see that it fits the Jr. Gent II pen kit? Please let me know so that I can either tell her yes I can make the pen or no I cannot make the pen. Please answer as fast as possible and thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. Have a nice day.
Sincerely, Warren Dusseau in Hutchinson, KS.

The rotacrylics are NOT pre-drilled, so you can use any size tube you wish, as long as the hole is dead center on the blank.

The "picture" will look good on any pen with a finished diameter in excess of one-half inch. If the finished pen is thinner than this, details of the "picture" can start to disappear (in reality you are turning them off).

The bolt action instructions tell you that the bushing is .425 inches--clearly less than .50, so we would not advise using any rotacrylic for that pen style.
