New! Metallica Blanks!! These new pen blanks have a very finely woven metal interspersed throughout the resin. Difficult to see in the blank but once turned, the results are three-dimensional and spectacular! The blank can be turned with normal woodworking tools, just like any resin blank.

These new pen blanks have a very finely woven metal interspersed throughout the resin. Difficult to see in the blank but once turned, the results are three-dimensional and spectacular! The blank can be turned with normal woodworking tools, just like any resin blank.
As these blanks are made to be semi-translucent, we strongly recommend back painting the tube hole. A kit with more "beef" (ie Sierra Visa or similar) will enhance the 3d effect of the blank. We also recommend not using a brad point drill bit or the use of a pilot hole. A final size jobber bit will work the best when drilling out the blank.
Blanks sold per each and are 7/8" in diameter and 3" in length.
