Blue-Black Ice Dragon Rotacrylic Pen Blank.

Jeff has designed a new dragon, just for the rotocrylic pen blanks! An intricate long tailed blue dragon hovers over Jeff's blue "Ice" resin backdrop...watching all that goes below!

This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in blue resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.

The pen blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc).  Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the white sanding dust and CA or epoxy. These pen blanks have been precision cut on a computer controlled multi axis CNC. The image depth on the blank does not vary. But you need to drill straight and in the center of the blank (there are two pilot holes started for you) or the image on the blank will be off center and will turn away as you turn the blank down. Please refer to the provided instructions. Painted tubes are recommended.

This blank is made from blue ice resin - a white, swirled with ice blue, and black with gold metallic flakes added in for the extra sparkle!

Very easy to turn, really a joy to work with.Easier than any Trustone and most acrylics I've tried. Even a beginner can produce stunning results. The dragon is the main attraction but the second blank is impressive in its own right. Do not be deterred by the price as the results are well worth it. I started sanding with 120 and went up to 1500 then used polish. Fast and amazing results - a rare combination.
