This pencil kit is pretty nice. I've built three so far, so I feel confident stating that It's simple to assemble, and the pencil mechanism, including the click portion, works well, with no problems noted. The finished kit is light, but sturdy. From a strictly personal standpoint, I would like to see a 0.5mm lead option, an extended lead tube at the tip (like an engineering/drafting pencil), and a slightly heavier finished product. I recommend this kit.

How do you refill rhe lead.

The lead refills fo into the pencil mechanism. Remove the eraser on the mechanism, and insert the replacement leads into the now exposed tube. Replace the eraser.

From the product instruction sheet:

To add lead, pull plunger off the back of mechanism and pull out eraser and holder. Lead can be added into the opening in the back of the mechanism. Push removed parts back into the end of the mechanism after adding lead.
