Buckeye Burl Pen Blank Stabilized Dark- Pre-Tubed Sierra

Aesculus glabra, commonly known as Ohio buckeye, Texas buckeye, fetid buckeye, and horse chestnut is a species of tree in the soapberry family (Sapindaceae) native to North America. Buckeye is a genus of about six species of North American trees and shrubs with nutlike seeds that resemble the eye of a deer.

These blanks are cut from a tree that had natural burl and dark coloration.  It is anticipated that buckeye will be more difficult to obtain for the next few years, so we expect this is the last we will see for a while.  The pen blanks have been stabilized and are priced per each. Blanks in the photos are a representative sample of the ones you will receive. Blanks have been lightly sprayed.
