Payment Options


We gladly accept most forms of payment, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express and PayPal transactions are also gladly accepted and supported as payment options upon check out.

If you would rather call in your payment info please select the Call or send in payment button. This will save the items on your order and but it will show as up "Queued" on your account. Any order placed in a "Queued" status must be paid for within 24 hours, or it will be canceled. Otherwise holding an order and then canceling it becomes unfair to our artists and other customers. Please note that this method of queuing and order may also delay the shipping slightly until we can manually process your payment.

Shipping Policy


Domestic Shipping. Unless otherwise noted, we will ship your order via USPS priority mail. CONUS U.S. shipping is a normally a flat $8.35, but if your items require more than one box or oversize boxes, we may have to get back to you once we compute the actual shipping charges. Alaska and Hawaii. -  Exotics will cover shipping up to one USPS large flat rate box to Alaska and Hawaii. Any additional FRB boxes needed or if we need to ship in a large oversized (by weight) box, actual shipping rates will be applied. If you would like your order insured, we do offer that as an option when you check out. We do encourage insurance, but you do not wish or choose to have your package insured, that is your prerogative but you are also accepting the risk. We can also ship your order via UPS or Fex Ex ground if you prefer. Any items that are considered HAZMAT or flammable, can not by law be shipped air (this includes the Priority mail service) and will need to be sent UPS Ground (Please note - UPS Ground is not available to Alaska and Hawaii).

Express (overnight) services are also available, but fees will vary a lot based on weight and distance, so we can not standardize those as an option on the site. Please contact us for a quote on any orders that you would like sent overnight.

International Shipping. Shipping for all International is charged an estimated flat rate of $67.00 (which is an average USPS rate for an International medium flat rate box to Europe) plus insurance. Due to the large variety of item sizes and weights that we handle (as well as the new USPS International zone rates), it is impossible for our software to figure out international shipping charges accurately upon check out. Therefore, the software will charge an estimated charge based on the USPS Medium Flat rate box when checking out. Once your order is pulled, boxed and weighed we will manually determine the actual shipping and insurance charges for your package and zone. Any over payment will be refunded back to you.

Currently, Exotics only charges International customers the actual amount that we have to pay to ship and insure your package via the USPS. We do not charge for the extra handling nor do we charge for filling out the customs paperwork. So if your order fits in a "small flat rate" box, or if the actual shipping costs are lower than what you were charged on check out, we will refund the difference to back you. Please note, "non-flat rate box" International orders will be determined and shipped based on size and/or weight for USPS Priority Mail. If your items are oversized or bulky (Cases, large rods, large qualities of boxes etc), shipping may be more than the estimated amount, and we will need to contact you before your order is completed.

Tracking for international orders sent via USPS is generally not available to us once your order leaves the US postal system. However, given the routing number provided, your local country's postal system may be quite good at providing your orders progress to you. We will do our best to assist you, but Exotics can not be responsible for the loss or damage of international packages.  Exotics is not responsible for any customs fees, duties and/or VAT charges.

We welcome and ship orders to almost all countries, as long as USPS ships there. Currently, we are not shipping to Russia, Czech Republic, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam or Turkey.

We also have the option of sending your packages via common courier or express services such as DHL, FedEx or UPS. These services are often faster than the postal service, but also more expensive. Rates will vary with weight and destination, please contact us for a quote if you would like to use an express courier. 

Generally, all domestic in stock orders will be shipped within one business day. We will do our best to ensure your order’s safe delivery, but please keep in mind that regardless if your order is domestic or international, Exotic Blanks cannot be responsible for loss or damage via the USPS, or common carrier. 

 

Returns


We strive to accurately depict our products. However, many of our blanks are either handmade or nature made. Some variations will naturally occur. We try to inspect all of the blanks before they are shipped. If for some reason what you receive it is not what you expect. Contact us via email within 14 days for a return authorization. Items must be in their original (unturned and unused) condition, and in most cases, a full refund will be issued. Any returns longer than 180 days after the original date of purchase, will be subject to a restocking fee. Any returns that were purchased on a quantity discount level will have that quantity discount reset and any promotional points will be adjusted.

We are sorry, but unless there are major manufacturing flaws (ie bubbles) refunds will not be issued for blanks or any other items that have been opened, used, turned, cut, drilled or otherwise altered. Refunds can not be issued for blanks that "blow out" in turning.

Special order items (in size, color, design or quantity), are considered custom and specialty and are therefore non-returnable. Special order items will need to be paid in advance.

In addition, please be aware that ALL kits come to us from the manufacturer on a pre packaged basis only. That means that we do not have, nor carry extra kit pieces, other than the occasional special purchases that will be listed on the site. And as much as we would like, we can not be responsible for pieces that are lost or damaged during assembly of a kit. (Please be careful and read the provided instructions!) And while we are more than happy to take care of any products that have been purchased from Exotics, please be aware that we can not be responsible for any kits that have missing or damaged parts where you purchased that kit from a different vendor or individual.

And although rare, we do realize that every once in a while a piece can be missing or a wrong piece can be inserted from the factory. If this happens, please contact us as soon as you are aware of the issue (this should be within 30 days of the date of original purchase). And we will be more than happy to take care of any problems for you! For any other item that was errantly omitted from your order, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your order. Please make sure to inspect your order upon arrival!
