Maple (Acer) comes in many tree species.  Wood ranges from vary light cream color to dark brown.  The color is accentuated when the wood is stabilized.  All of these blanks will show some figure, coupled with the stabilizing process this maple will create a very nice wood pen!!  These blanks are large enough for most any pen components.
