Ladybug Inlay Kit - Sierra Pen Kits
The Ladybug inlay kit has a striking Green dyed Box Elder burl background with 2 ladybugs inlayed into it. Each ladybug is made using 1 piece of Red dyed Basswood and 1 piece of African Blackwood. It also utilizes a .020" piece of white styrene for the eyes as well as a small block of Blackwood to create sawdust to fill in the black markings on the ladybug. Simply lock the sawdust in position with a drop of thin CA glue.
The kit comes ready to assembled and includes a complete set of instructions. It is designed to fit the Sierra, Sierra Vista, Manhattan, Sienna, Diplomat, Wallstreet II, Gatsby, Mesa, and the Apprentice Classica pen kits (sold separately).
This kit will not work with the shorter-bodied Sierra pencil kits or the Sierra Elegant Beauty Button Click pen. On a degree of difficulty scale from 1 to 5, this kit is rated a 2.
