Kunlun Dragon Pen Kits

Kunlun Dragon ballpoint pen kits.

The cap of this pen is fashioned after an ancient Chinese offering vessel, a symbol of power. The clip of the pen kit features a Chinese dragon (A symbol of good fortune) flying over and protecting an engraving of the Kunlun Mountains, which adorns the pen’s tip.

The Kunlun Mountains not only play an important role in Chinese mythology but they also happen to form the longest mountain range in Asia, extending over 1,800 miles. The range also forms the northern edge of the Tibetan Plateau and these same mountains are thought to be the location of James Hilton’s fictional Shangri-La from his iconic novel Lost Horizons. The Kunluns are also known to be a rich source of high-quality jade, and a ring of this precious stone was embedded in every gold, silver and bronze medal from the 2008 Olympic Games.
