Sweetgum Balls For Resin Casting - bag of100.  These spikey balls make really cool blanks. The chambers in the balls will naturally swirl the resin, creating cool eddies and color effects. The sweetgum balls are clean and dry, but it is recommended that you wash them with DNA (alcohol) and dry them thoroughly before casting (especially if using Alumilite resins)

Black Walnut Shells for resin casting.  These black walnut shells are straight off the tree. These are not the common walnut shells with a smooth shell, but they have a much more interesting "barky" exterior. They have been hand-picked by John U and cracked to expose the interior for casting, and the nut meat removed. The shells are dry, but it is recommended that you give over them with a bristle brush to remove any remaining debris, wash them with DNA (alcohol) and dry them thoroughly before casting (especially if using Alumilite resins)
