Carbine Ballpoint Pen Kit (Berea) - Chrome

I assembled several of these kits recently and encountered a few negatives; While pressing parts together, some type of wax or other coating was on the parts and it was scraped up when pressing them together. This got pinched between the two parts making it difficult to get a complete press.

Another problem is having to hold the clip in the slot of the clip bushing while you are pressing the finial in. The clip requires force of pressure to stay in the slot and it easily slips out of the narrow slot. Keeping the clip in the slot can be challenging and awkward, especially if you are trying to keep the clip placed in a specific location on the turned blank.
