This SPW Caballero Pen Kit features the Smitty's innovation where the Black Chrome threaded couplers found on the original Caballeros and virtually all of our competitors kits with couplers plated in the same finish as the pen parts.

his is the all Gold Tn entry into our single finish offerings in our popular SPW Caballero line of Component sets. Smitty's Pen Works is the only seller currently offering this plating option.
The threads, cap button and Center band trim ring are the same finish as the rest of the plated parts. All parts are interchangeable with the regular SPW Caballeros. Provided with Schmidt 888 Rollerball Refills for smooth writing to go with the good looks.These use the same drill bits and bushings as the regular Drill bits 12mm or 15/32 & 10mm or 25/64. Bushings are either Caballero or Jr Gent 1.

The Nib is not a full #6 nib but is wider than standard and is two-tone making for a very pleasing appearance. The kit includes the cap extension trim ring to allow installation on any Caballero pen. The pictured Ink converter and ink cartridge are NOT included but sold separately. -
Caballero Threaded Finial Coupler - Titanium Gold
Caballero Threaded Couplers Gold Tn (both cap and nib) for SPW Caballero. These couplers allow you to replace the 10mm / 25/64th couplers that come with you're kit.
Hence, you can make a standard Caballero two tone set with black chrome threads black finial button and black trim ring in the centerband to a two tone set with matching threads but retaining the black trim ring in the center band and the black finial button on the cap. Realy great for those who like t'urning their own finial buttons. Match all existing hardware.Many, Many possibilities. Should work in other 10MM or 25/64th tubes if you like expermenting. -
