IMPORTANT NOTE:
Some dis-assembly is required on pens that are completely assembled when the conversion is made.  You must dis-assemble the cap/clip assembly and install the cap extension trim ring then reassemble the cap/clip/ring assembly.  If you are starting from scratch just make sure to add the cap extension ring to the clip/cap/ring assembly before pressing it into the shorter tube. When converting a rollerball pen to a fountain pen retain the rollerball nib assembly, the rollerball spring, and the rollerball refill

What type of ink cartridge, Cross, Parker etc.?

    Hi Jim,

Ink cartridge - as in fountain pen ink cartridge, :) Cross & Parker are Ballpoint pen refills. They would not work well in a fountain pen.

    Hope that helps!
