From Masterscroller! Jeff has designed a new blank to celebrate the oil industry. The oddly shaped pump jack is known by many affectionate names: Donkey, Grasshopper, Horse-head, Thirsty Bird among others, and has been an oil icon that has dotted the landscape in many states.
This amazing piece of workmanship involved many hours of design cutting on a CNC, including thousands of lines of code. Once cut, the upper blank was re cast, in resin. The matching blank for the other barrel has no image.
The blank will fit a mid size pen (Jr Gent II/Jr Statesman/Triton etc) Because of the double casting and the intricate design, there is a chance of encountering a small bubble. If you do, it can easily be filled with some of the sanding dust and CA or epoxy. Painted tubes are recommended.
