Ebonite Rods

Ebonite is the 'hard rubber' material from which many classic pens were made. It simply exudes elegance and class. In a fine writing instrument, there is nothing quite like ebonite in feel and looks.

A word of caution is in order. If you have never turned ebonite - it is a rubber. It will have a strong sulfur smell during drilling and turning, both of which should be done with care. A finish (like a lacquer) is also strongly recommended to protect the ebonite and further enhance the beauty of this classic material.
